Leveraging the power of Microsoft Office SharePoint® Server (MOSS), information workers can easily store documents in a highly controlled method directly into the Clearview Document Center. As the documents are stored, users are required to “tag” the documents with organizational metadata (indexes) so that the document can be properly classified and managed by Clearview throughout its active and inactive lifecycle until eventual expiration and disposition.

The Document Center provides fully-featured Document Management functionality such as robust library services (check-in, check-out controls, major and minor versioning, version histories) along with the appropriate security controls to seamlessly manage and interact with content directly through Microsoft Office native interfaces.  When combined with the power of the Clearview ECM suite, the Document Center is powered with deep security controls, intelligent content organization and access, as well as full audit tracking of all activity from content creation through content disposition.
